For the most part, Panantukan is very similar to boxing. However, there is way wider range of possibilities which you can apply. Besides striking with the fist, there are also elbow techniques, hammer fist and knuckle techniques. Furthermore pulling and pushing your opponent is allowed in order to disturb him and therefore strike more efficiently.
Additionally there are also leg techniques like foot sweeps, knee techniques and elements from wrestling.
Panantukan is no competitive sport and therefore not bound to rules.
Because of its well structured training concept, Panatukan is easy to learn and brings barely any risk of injury. The training consists of condition training with jab pads, punching bags and sparring exercises.
