Modern Hatha Yoga goes back to the ancient Indian teaching. This system is made out of physical exercises that consist of certain body postures or positions.

The body postures (Asanas) can be performed either dynamically or statically and will help you mobilize, strengthen and stretch the whole body. As a result, muscular disbalances can be compensated, tensions can be relieved and a healthy body posture can be developed.

Breathing techniques (Pranayama) will help improving breathing as well as reaching ideal oxygen supply of the whole muscle system, all organs and of the brain.

When performed correctly, the Yoga exercises will influence both physique and mind as well as body and soul.

The body and the nervous system can relax and the soul can calm down. A feeling of happiness will generate on a mental level.
